Best skiing we have experienced as far as the mountain and snow since moving from Alaska. Needless to say, we won’t be renting from the actual ski resort again. At the end of the day they expected people that rented skis to know how the return procedure went, and were rude with that as well, I won’t even go into detail, except that my 15 and 14 year old daughters were taken back by how they were treated when asking where they needed to go for returns, they just expected them to know, and were rude rude rude. Boots were awful and extremely uncomfortable. This is her 3rd time skiing, ever, she is 4ft tall, I’d like shorter skis, like 90s please.” He then responds, “well Cassidy, guess your going to snail down the hills today.” Seriously dude?! I responded to his smart a** response, “does it look like she needs to be racing down the hill with skis that she can’t control or turn with? Are you paying for these ski rentals, or am I?” I won’t even go into my two older teens and their experience with rentals as well. At this point I was agitated with the immediate rudeness and said, “dude, what is your problem, why do you keep arguing with me?” Dude says, “I’m just trying to set her up for an awesome ski day.” I said, “You have been nothing but rude. He says, ‘no, they are fine!’ (Are you f* kidding me, I’m 5’10” and I have 155’s). Then I got called to get my rentals, by the time I got back to finish out my 6 year olds rentals, they handed me her skis! They were 120s! I asked, “is it possible to get shorter skis for her, these are way too long, this is only her 3rd time skiing (1st time without group lessons). I replied, “yes they are, can we please get the next size up.” Big sigh under his breathe and we got the right size. Went up to the counter and told the rude gentleman that they were too small, he immediately says ‘no they’re not’. Got called for my 6 year olds boots and helped her get them on, buckled them and had her bend her knees, she said her toes still touched. Was a great way to recharge our batteries on a long road trip not to mention very romantic.Decided to get ski rentals at Wolf Creek and staff was extremely rude and unhelpful.
